This is one of my absolute favorite romance series, so this rating is a surprise. 

This is a good book, but it is unfinished. It just ends, completely unresolved. All I can think is that this must be because it leads into a spin-off series, because otherwise there is absolutely NO reason to build this much tension and mystery and then leave it open. 

I am usually ok with endings that leave us to imagine how the characters get along from there on, I don’t necessarily need it wrapped up all tidy and with a bow on top. 
But here there is actual story missing. I don’t even know if it qualifies as a cliffhanger because it just stops. And it’s already an in-between book (4.5 in the series) so it seems as if it should tell the full story it wants to tell.

I don’t get it. 

Other than that, I liked the character development and the relationship. I also enjoyed the twist and the bit of mystery.

I’d like to hear the end though.
