this was awful i could barely get through the first like 20%

I’ve been loving Claire Contreras books recently so thought I would go for another. This one is kind of all over the place. Kind of felt like a mafia soap opera to me. 

I love Loren and Cat together but I didn’t really care for much of the rest of it. It was definitely entertaining and at one point I thought I might not finish but instead just read the entire thing in one sitting. 

There are a few spelling/ editing errors that bothered me but might not be annoying to anyone else. 😂 And there were so many random characters that have just a couple lines/ appearances that it was hard to connect to or remember them. 

Overall, really wanted to like it but it just didn’t connect. I think there were just too many things going on. If you like high drama but minimal actual storyline with some steam and hot characters then go for it, I still like the authors writing and will try a different series.
