This story pulls on all those high school drama, instant lust, first love, stupid mistake feels hard! Becker Gray has expertly executed the intense depth of emotion that so easily takes root with vulnerable hearts. There is so much sugary sweet yet down and dirty fire! Keaton and Iris are the epitome of spoiled rich boy meets innocent new girl, it’s a story we’ve read over and over again but the chemistry between these two is EVERYTHING. That dark room scene? Yes! Perfection. Keaton is a Constantine through and through, an irresistible mixture of cold calculation and fiery passion. While Keaton is stubborn and arrogant, Iris is compassionate and determined. I really enjoyed her character, her natural naivety wasn’t overplayed, it’s simply her. Once they realized that they were only standing in their own way it didn’t take long for these two to choose each other or to see the hidden parts of themselves that are so similar it hurts. That they simply have to choose their happiness over born obligations. I found myself head over heels with a scraped knee, falling face first into the swooniest HEA. Wicked Idol is a fabulous edition to the Midnight Dynasty world and a tumultuous tale of love fit for a Constantine. At the same time it sets up a solid base for an intriguing new crew of prep school punks ready to drive you crazy while at the same time making you crave TF outta them.

To me this book starts off slow but eventually picks up the pace. The only thing that I didn’t care for in the book was how the iris literally at one point just settles for being the side piece even though she wants to be the whole meal.

had high hopes for this but so unoriginal honestly and complete insta love which i’m not into.
