We might be the Kings of Kroydon Hills, but she is football royalty.Natalie Sinclair came into my world and changed my life. Her father was the new professional coach in town, and her twin brother played on my team. This tiny dancer fit into our circle of friends like she was the missing piece. She may not have thought she wanted a relationship with a football player, but that was before me.I'm Brady Ryan. Captain and one of the top quarterbacks in the country.Once I decided she was mine, nothing was going to keep me from her.Not her twin brother. Not a jealous ex.Not even myself.

This was a random read after it appeared on my TikTok. As soon as I saw what it was about my brain was instantly like that is what you want to read. It was a slightly ridiculous book. Very easy reading. Was it the best romance I’ve ever read? Not a chance. But it was so easy to lose myself in. I just couldn’t help but get attached to Nat and Brady and they’re ridiculous romance. It was a bit extreme some of the situations they were in but whatever. This book was perfect for the mood I was in and I can’t always say that with my reading moods.

3.5 stars. This book has a lot of potential, but I don’t think it lived up to it. I think the characters are solid but could’ve done with a little more development and transformation. I would’ve liked to have seen both Brady and Natalie before they meet, their lives as they were before. I did really like Bash, Annabelle, Chloe, and Tiffany intrigued me. I would’ve liked to have seen this book stretched out too. It feels like everything was just getting started and it ended. The hitch at the end was over in a matter of pages and came out of the blue, something even one of the characters notices. It would’ve built the suspense so much more if it was built throughout the book and not fixed so easily. The whole book almost has a rushed feel to it, something not entirely fully developed. The info dump in the epilogue is symptomatic of this. I also found the writing style a little clunky. The use of contractions, or non use, made for a stilted reading experience and I felt some of the dialogue again, needed to be stretched out more. Not everything needs to be said in one response, there can be back and forth. The story here is a nice one, I just think it needs a little more work. Sorry!
