Travelling by plane, motorbike and boat, and on foot, Billy Connolly tours the length and breadth of Australia with his stage show, and delivers a personal commentary on what he sees. From Sydney to Canberra, and from Alice Springs to Barthurst Island, he sets out to find the true spirit of the people of Australia, and in doing so he meets a wide variety of characters, including Aborigines, artists and musicians.
