This is going to have to be a quick review since I have to leave in a few minutes for some things. However, what an amazing conclusion to this series. This author definitely knows how to write a page turner and that is what Bloo d & Ice is. I can't believe I read this entire series in less than 3 days. Is that insane or what! I literally read the first two books in 9hrs because I needed to know what happened! I am not a big fan of cliffhangers so I was like, "give me now!"

This series has it's flaws, like any books out there and some I was able to look past and some I was not able to. 

I loved the relationship build between Eroan and Lysander, it was was so stunning and wholesome. Eroan was always there for my baby boo Lysander and his protective nature of his dragon just set my soul on fire. It broke my heart how Eroan felt like he could never do enough for Lysander and vice versa. 

And then there is Lysander. God I just want to wrap this baby boo up in bubble wrap and keep him safe from the vicious world! He has been wronged so many fucking times and to see him get up again and again and again. I just can't fathom being that strong. It hurts me to see a character believe that they are too broken for love. However, his love for Eroan is so pure and so deep that it kept me going until the very end. 

I loved that a few characters sort-of redeemed themselves in this book. There were a lot of surprised twists and I loved how a character you think is truly evil, is just as broken as the main characters in this book. 

Then there is Nye, fuck Nye. 

As for the plot. I loved a lot of things. Like I said there were a lot of twists that happened and it definitely kept the pages turning. However, there was one theme that literally continued through the entire series and I was not a fan. (view spoiler)[That theme being Lysander is taken, abused, saved, to be taken, abused, and saved. This literally happens ever 50-70 pages and it just got annoying. He never got a break and it came to the point that this theme was so repetitive, I ended up skipping a few chapters because I could literally guess what was about to happen. (hide spoiler)] I was told that this theme would let up after half-way through the second book but it literally continued until the last 20 pages of Blood & Ice.

All in all it was a decent series and I loved all the spicy moments and cute loving moments between Eroan and Lysander. A lot of characters got what was coming to them and I was happy with this conclusion. I am not 100% if I will read the spin-off books just yet. I liked how the book ended and I don't know if I want to truly delve back in.
