           I love and hate this book so much. I love reading foster kids and MC's and I adoreeeee the asshole to lover trope. 


Spoiler alert. I suffer with panic attacks and what those boys did to "help" her was a joke and a half. I fully wanted to belly laugh, I was waiting for the joke. Three boys touching me up and performing oral on me while I can't breath because I'm scared wouldn't be as happily taken by me. 
I also don't like the way Raven's mum is portrayed, I just think it could of been handled better and more realistically. 
Maddoc is less of a person than a rock sometimes, which is aggravating but if that's how she likes her men. 
Maybells a wasted character, who solidly did nothing. 
Chloe is my current favourite. She's not only the most realistic teenager written, with the most potential but.... And I say this with anger, the thing we hate her for is EXACTLY what we're suppose to love the guys for. Sorry the men for, because the entire book refers the them as men. They're children ffs. 
But I enjoy the female fighting, not in the underground ones and sometimes I think the shit she does doesn't make sense but she's not the damsel in distress so I admire that. 
I love a good foster kid story, although this one was portrayed so shittily I don't class it as one. 
I like Royce and Captain tho

I can’t even put into words how good this book is. My heart is, at this written moment, and forever more, no longer in my possession. The Boys of Brayshaw High, and Raven, has forever and ever captured my heart, my emotions and my sanity. I loved this book from the first sentence and I could not put it down until it was finished. 2019 started of with a killer book and I am not sure if this one is gonna be able to be topped.

This author brings forth real life problems. Social workers, judgement, idiot parents. Learning to love not only ourselves but also accepting that feeling stuff other than anger and resentment, is ok.

She brings forth all these problems in a way that makes us aware of them instead of shying away from it all.
I was pleasantly surprised over and over again by this book. When I expected a Scene to turn out like it always do in every other book, this author surprised us with something completely new. It has us on the edge, waiting, to see what will happen next. This is a heartbreaking, sad, strong and powerful book and it leaves us unable to cope. It gives us an ending where we grasp on to every little thing we can hold onto, trying to mentally prepare ourself for book two. 
I have found my all time favorite read in this book.

Meagan Brady is a one of a kind author who gives you Hell and flowers. Pain and pleasure. Highs and the lows. I am so privileged to have gotten to read this story before it came out.

I quite enjoyed this book, even if I had a few, quite big problems with it.
First off, mature YA is my thing. I love it. There’s massive shades of Erin Watt’s Royals here, as well as Amo Jones’s Elite Kings saga. 
Also, I found it moved quite slowly. It wasn’t really until about 50 or even 60% in that I found things moving. There wasn’t really a purpose to the story before then.
And the relationship with Raven and her guy took WAY too long to develop. It wasn’t until about 90% in she really gets it. It annoyed me a little.
So despite this, why the rating? Because mature YA is my thing and I did enjoy the boys, they’re awesome, especially Captain.
If you enjoy the aforementioned books, you’ll like this, give it a go.

I think Madoc should be the lover and then Cap and Royce are like the protective older brothers.
Yknow they're both a little stupid at some points.
He's a little too commanding.
And she doesn't trust easily but I think they're endgame.

Fuck the end.
If I didn't have school tomorrow I would finish the next book rn.

Rating: 5 Stars - Amazing

Boys of Brayshaw High (Brayshaw #1) was a fantastic read. I have a huge girl crush on Raven. She stands up for herself and is loyal. Loved that she can hold her own and is strong-willed especially when it comes to Maddoc, Royce, Captain "Cap". Maddoc is the Alpha of his pack and Raven gets under his skin. The angst was good with a nice amount of sexual tension and fun banter. With good solid secondary characters Royce and Captain who are part of the story help ease the angst between Maddoc and Raven. Reads more of a New Adult Romance with the heat factor and their actions even though still in the later part of their High school years. They are all mature for their age because of their upbringing.

idk if i should give it 2 stars or 3 stars. it wasnt really good, this was in my tbr since last year and i finally got to read it. the plot was everywhere and dont get me started with the characters. rae or raven whatever u want to call her was trying to hard, she was acting all tough... like calm down damn. maddoc is js honestly weird, like he growls TOO MUCH FAM. it was more than the twlight books and they are acc wolfs. the other 2 royce and captain, i didnt have a problem with nothing much to say abt them. i might change my rating later but for now its 3.

angst & annoyance

honestly I truly am enjoying this book, but I also want to hurt Rae in so many ways. she makes impulsive, stupid decisions & blames in on her past. the boys are trying & developing so beautifully & she’s basically unwilling to try & give them an inch. it’s as frustrating as it is intriguing. i’m really upset with how it left on that cliffhanger in all honesty… but we will see because I am also extremely interested in how this is all going to play out in book 2.

Could not stop reading this novel! During class, meetings, and instead of homework, I was devouring this story. If you are a fan of Fallen Crest High by Tijan, then this is the books for you. If you are a fan of three hot guys with most of their attention on the town’s latest new girl, then this is the book for you. Basically if you like to read and like trouble characters - this is the book for you!

Not five stars, but SIX MOTHERFUCKING STARS!!!! This book, fuck is everything I love!! A feisty, don’t take no shit from anyone, and stubborn as all hell heroine and some very protective, aggressive, in your face, but deep down have the biggest hearts hero’s. 

I’m new to this author, but when I seen this blurb and cover popping up everywhere on my Facebook and Instagram I had to have it. And when it finally landed on my Kindle I slowly devoured every second of it. I’m not going to sit here and breakdown the blurb, just go grab this book and READ IT!! You won’t be disappointed.

Fun to read, but the characters are pretty stupid and I’m definitely not reading the next one. Interestingly slow burn on the romance side which is rare for this kind of book. Kind of refreshing if not frustrating.
