Beautiful and consistent artwork set along to a massive storyline. I’d love to see this storyline adapted to the big screen one day.
As with every huge comic event, there is one thing you are afraid of, and that's the comic being a mess. Due to it naturally having so many characters it will be hard to keep everything neat and clean. With this book, although it is a VERY important event in tbe marvel universe, it is undoubtedly a mess. Everything is done in a really sloppy way, and the resolution was really silly. After all that trouble and reading 5 comics after House Of M trying to lead up to this, I'm just glad its over. The problem is, is that after 600 pages of reading you really don't care about the outcome because of all the crap that preceded. I just wished it would've been done better. On the positive end, the art was really cool, especially the fight scenes were fun to look at visually. Also the "person" who dies was really tragic. It hurt seeing it happen. Anyway. All in all it is an important read for the marvel universe. If you want to be up to date with the major events you have to read this one in order to understand the references that come in later books. If you can stand it being really messy go for it, if not, i suggest you just google what happens.
