Finding His Mark

Screenwriter, Evelyn Reed, left her wealthy, Hollywood family behind to preserve her privacy and make it on her own as Eva Sharp, writer and show runner.  When the television show about Navy SEALS that she is producing finishes filming early, she decides to head for one of her cabin's in the woods, so that she can think and write in peace.  Eva's sure that the man who rented all of her cabins won't mind if she takes over one of them until she realizes that she has stepped into some kind of military operation that almost gets her killed. Luke Scott doesn't know what he's going to do with Eva when she accidentally puts herself in the line of fire, but he quickly figures out that Eva can hold her own.

Finding His Mark is an enjoyable romantic suspense with likable characters and a mostly believable plot.  The dialogue is well written and makes sense in the context of the story and creates additional development of the characters.  Some parts of the mystery are easy to figure out, and the solutions offered don't really solve the problems the main characters face, but these elements still add to the basic story.  Overall, Finding His Mark is a fun romantic suspense that adds nothing new to the genre but makes for an entertaining read.
