This book was a perfect story about prejudices. I totally love it. It was full of romance, problems and a little bit of mystery. I liked the relationship between Kade and Raya a lot and I liked this book made the meaning of family do big. It was just perfect. It was a very nice book to read and I was hooked from the first word to the ver end. I'm totally going to read more from this author.

This book has sat on my kindle forever and I finally dived in. It was good and I’m glad I read it, but I would’ve loved if it was dual POV. I know Kade’s book is available but I’m not a fan of reading the same book but from a different POV. It’s repetitive, even if I do want to know what happened. Also, the “twist” at the end was crazy and a bit surprising. Like, where did that come from? I also felt like there were so many characters who needed more introductions, it felt like I was missing pieces, but it’s book 1 of the series. I know their stories are coming, but at least intro them so I know what the hell im supposed to do with them. Not sure I’ll read the rest of the series...

***6 Stars*** This is actually a reread. This book was my first ever ebook and the reason I fell in love with C.M. Owens and her books. She is one of the most talented writers I’ve ever read. So glad I gave this book a chance :)
