Check out this and my other reviews at My Blog, Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Pinterest ★Book Basics★ Genre : - Contemporary Romance Series : - 2nd in the series Love triangle? - (view spoiler)[No (hide spoiler)] Cheating? - (view spoiler)[No (hide spoiler)] HEA? - (view spoiler)[Yes (hide spoiler)] Would I read more by this author? - Probably not. Rating - 2.5 ★Review★ Due to some personal issues recently, it has been a cpl of weeks since I finished this book. But reading back over some of the comments I made as I was reading it, and looking at the the notes on my kindle, I shall endeavour to give a review. Or mainly, probably copy and paste from some of the comments I made on my reading update statuses. (is that right? it does not look right!) This is my 3rd go with this author, and tbh, after I never quite got over the last book I read of hers, where an ever so clumsy heroine jumped from a moving train, into the arms of the hero........even though she could have you know, just got off the next stop and come back, but whatever, I thought I would give her one last chance, as a LOT of my gr friends love her books, but she verges on the OTT ridiculous for me, and I kind of do not like how she writes heroines. They are clumsy, or ditzy, and always always TSTL. It is like they are written to be kooky, quirky and cute, but they come across as just dumb. For me, it is just too OTT and crazy......a bit try hard funny but instead it is just ridiculous. The heroine had been here 4 days, FOUR! And, fallen in lust with the hero, been interrupted umpteen times from making out, found two dead bodies, ran off a cliff (because as she keeps telling us, she is just so clumsy) sang karaoke, got rat arsed drunk, vomited on the hero's shoes, been suspended from work, been to a sex toy party, been arrested, and started investigating a murder, with her "crazy" aunt who just happened to show up. But, she is just go cute an adorable and sexy blah blah blah... And do not get me started on the running around in the forest with glow in the dark vibrators as your torches ran out of batteries. These people deserve to be eaten by bears! oh, and Vertically challenged does not mean clumsy! It means short ffs. A 2.5 stars. As in I read it weeks ago, a lot of shit has happened to me since that time, and I am not fuelled by the eye rolling over ridiculousness of it all, to remember just now much this book annoyed me, so will err on the side of the slightly more positive rating (and 2 stars means ok ppl according to GR)
