Guyssss. I loved Max with my full heart in the war of lost hearts trilogy and i’ll be thankful for whatever scraps i get of him.

This book is obviously not finished yet and this is one the first part and 115 pages so i don’t want to fully judge it just yet.

I love Carrissa’s writing style so that was enjoyable

However, this book was kinda hard to read:

  • - firstly, because getting to know the people in his life that aren’t still there after the war is very heartbreaking

  • - secondly, because i fucking hate Nura and will never forgive her for what she did in the trilogy

  • - thirdly, reading about Max having feeling for someone else that isn’t Tisaanah felt SOOOOOO wrong to read about

  • - lastly, seeing how Max though abiyh certain things back then made me uncomfortable in a way i can’t quite describe

But anyway, as always enjoyed reading Carissa’s work and loving hearing more about Max’s back story <3

Will give updates when she’s written more parts/ released full book. Rating will probably get higher when it’s a full book and not just first 100 pages
