Don’t get me wrong, i love every single character, even the ones i thought i disliked in the previous books, but i am a little disappointed with Wrens Love interest, spoilers I like Tor, but i feel like she had a lot more chemistry with Alarik, and personally i liked him more no spoilers. And from reading other reviews, many share the same view as me. This was very action packed towards the end which i enjoyed, but the middle was mainly just dragging on and not that interesting. I personally just liked the second book more, because of the tension, and the romance.

Alarik rested his hand on her shoulder, his mood appearing to be much brighter now that Willa had offered them a kernel of hope. 'Wren's just unsettled because she's afraid she's going to fall in love with me.'

Wren couldn’t help it. The moment she saw Tor, her face broke into a smile.

Alarik smiled back.
