I wish I could give it more stars, this was so good ❤️❤️❤️

what I liked about this book:
> I got the Waterstones exclusive wren edition with dark blue (i think) sprayed edges with like leaves and birds, and it's so beautiful ❤️❤️
> the characters were really nice and they had their own personalities and they were all different
> I loved the dual pov, slightly preferred Rose's chapters in the first 60% of the book but then the last 40% after they met I liked Wren's more
> I really like the magic system in this book, one of my favourites
> The world was really nice and felt real

There isn't anything I didn't like about this book really, just some things I didn't love as much as the other parts, so parts I didn't love:
> I'm definitely not the target demographic lmao, the writing felt a little like it was aimed at someone younger which is definitely my fault but it was very easy to read and was still very enjoyable, which I liked and made it a quick read, but some parts definitely felt like they were aimed at someone younger, and while I'm still the target demographic of YA books (and apparently this book according to Barnes and Noble) at 16 it was probably aimed at someone slightly younger? idfk
> The romance aspect of it is described as "enemies to lovers" but idk it was definitely somewhat that but it didn't feel like enemies to lovers, not like other books I've read. the romance was also quite predictable as it was very easy to guess who Rose would end up with and who Wren would end up with

Overall i give 5/5 stars because I loved this book and I'm definitely excited for the next one, and there wasn't anything about it that I hated or that disappointed me, it was overall very good
