I don't like football (soccer for us Americans) but Daws has changed my mind the way the Harrises view football is a way of life, it brought them out of a dark place, it was a second chance. So you can say I have become a fan well of fictional players at least. 

Camden Harris could not get any hotter being great at what he does and the passion he has for the sport and connection with his family just makes you fall in love. When a knee injury brings him in contact with Dr. Indie Porter we see the playboy that he is come out. She isn't his type but she is the perfect distraction from the pain and knee injury that may end his career. 

Indie Porter has always put her education first, as a gifted child she never fit in, her relationships with people have been not existent. She has a plan and Camden might just be the perfect candidate for the job in order to let go and finally have some fun. 

Nothing is ever just fun and games when feelings get involved. I loved the complexity of the characters, thier past, and family have shaped who they are and how they react to relationships. It was interesting to see that their relationship with their families shaped the way they made connections with others. 

I will never look at sharing a cup of coffee with someone the same way again. The one liners and antics by all the characters had me laughing out loud, crying at times and wanting to shake some sense into them. 

If you like sport romance with some meat to the story then this is the book for you. I can't wait to see more of the Harris brothers.

Cute story. Love the characters. I’m kind of reading these books a little out of order, I read a stand alone that was kind of apart of this series first it involved some of the friends they will make later in the series. But I’m very curious to see what the rest of the Harris brothers have to offer in their books.

"If I knew this was how feelings felt, I'd have avoided them like the horrid STD they are."

I nearly DNF'd this at around the 20% mark because of the absurdity of the hero and heroine's meet cute. The heroine could lose her medical license, not just her job for making out with a patient like that! I then told myself not to take it too seriously and to just go with it, and it turns out I'm glad that I did. The story and characters definitely proved to have more substance than as they first came off as.

At times, the tantrums both the hero and heroine threw felt juvenile, but they both actually had deep-rooted insecurities that they had to overcome. I also liked that it's the heroine in this equation that is the emotionally distant one, since oftentimes it's the hero. Always love a good grovel and wooing from the hero's side!

And who doesn't love puns??
