Chomsky on Anarchism
Everyone knows what Chomsky is against. His scathing analysis of everything that is wrong with society reaches more and more people every day. His brilliant critiques of capitalism, imperialism, domestic repression and government propaganda have become mini publishing industries in themselves. But, in this flow of publishing and republishing, very little gets said about what exactly Chomsky stands for, his vision for the future. Chomsky on Anarchism shows a different side to this author - the principles that have guided him and never-before-published interviews.

Penguin Specials edition. A short collection of excerpts from Chomsky's writing, lectures and interviews. While the ideas are interesting, this book has the feeling of being put together without much thought, and the longer pieces in particular lack the context necessary to be comprehensible for anyone who doesn't have significant prior knowledge of anarchism or the Spanish Civil War. A disappointing read.

Sin élites codiciosas que se sirvan de la propaganda o de la fuerza para servar sus privilegios, los trabajadores podrían poseer y administrar su propio trabajo y la comunidad podría satisfacer las necesidades básicas de todos los ciudadanos.
i should definitely read again about social theory…
