The Stars Fell

15 year old Damen Masche is a professional underachiever. Despite being surrounded by overachievers made up of his family and friends, he has chosen to live in the background, making himself appear to be as unreliable as possible and avoiding any responsibility coming his way. However, during a meteor shower, a relic that has traveled through space and time falls into his town of Clarity, Mississippi and Damen is caught in its fiery impact. He later awakens in a hospital bed with his memories shattered, strange tattoos covering his arm, and fleeting visions of a burning citadel against an otherworldly sky. , he finds himself on the edge of a coming cosmic conflict thousands of years in the making. But before Damen can make sense of his bizarre situation, his town comes under the attack of fearsome creatures looking to lay claim to the relic. Thus begins a race against time as Damen struggles to remember what happened on the night that the stars fell. Damen will have to overcome all of his self imposed insecurities and break his limits if he is to ensure that his family, friends, and all of Clarity, live to see another dawn.
