A study of the careers of Spanish film actors Imanol Arias, Antonio Banderas, Javier Bardem, Carmelo Gómez, Jordi Mollà, and Jorge Sanz who all had their first big success in major films of the post-Franco period. A further four younger actors, Eduardo Noriega, Fele Martínez, Liberto Rabal, and Juan Diego Botto are also covered, but less extensively.
