Nick and Noel's Christmas Playlist
Reviews

genuinely one of the worst books ive ever had the displeasure of reading.. like omg? everything abt this book made me so angry. codi hall needs to stop writing books & be sent to federal prison instead!

A very cute friends-to-lovers Christmas tale even though there was one plot point that worried me the WHOLE TIME and it turned out okay, but I still wish it hadn't been that big of an issue. Nick and Noel were adorable and there was some very good spice. Hated Amber with every fiber of my being and I think her constant presence was a bit too much. Still would recommend for some holiday feels!

kinda toxic but it adds plot 3.5 also why did they fake date for only like two chapters

This was a sweet holiday romance. With a friends-to-lovers relationship to the fun hallmark-y vibe. I liked seeing the growing relationship between nick and noel and their growth through each other and their situations. My biggest issue was Noel's heavy issues and her dependency on others in her life when trying to fix them. This was definitely something that should've been talked through with a professional. I was also not the biggest fan of the petty drama between Nick's ex and Noel. Overall, this was a fun holiday read with a cute and supportive romance with a large family atmosphere and a lovely small town. Recommended for; anyone looking for a hallmark-y romance

More of a 3.5

Full review to come; my only complaint at the moment is whoever designed the cover must not have read the book lol.

I just thought this book was super cute! I loved the friends to lovers storyline and usually it's not my favorite trope. However in a Christmas romcom, it works wonders! Nick and Noel's friendship was so cute. I loved how Nick never pressured Noel to be in a relationship, even thought he let his feelings known. He wanted everything out on the table. I loved Noel's storyline and her strength. The only character I hated was Amber. She's your typical mean girl and I just hate those types of characters. She did get slightly better in the end, so that's good. I would like to see a story on here so we can see more of an arc.

This one was a great Holiday read. The characters are sweet and funny. It was really easy to get into the story. We wholeheartedly recommend!

I don't know why, but I cannot get into this book. I did not appreciate how fast Nick and Noel went from best friends to a couple, especially since Nick had just broken off with his girlfriend. I don't understand at all. How can you love someone that fast after proclaiming your love with someone else? It makes no sense. I felt they should have explored their relationship in a more organic way than rushing into it since they were fake dating.

2.5 ⭐️ overall this was a cute book & I liked the mc’s most of the time, but there were just a few things that were hard to look past. a.) a lot of typos 😭 b.) both mc’s were in the military but it didn’t add anything to their characters and was mentioned maybe once or twice for one of them c.) the dialogue was really cringy at most parts d.) there was hardly any Christmas! besides the tree farm and a concert literally Christmas was never mentioned. it was a super quick read and I did enjoy some of the drama but it felt shallow at times. i was definitely rooting for Nick and Noel and i loved the side characters, but a few aspects of the book could have been executed better in my opinion.

Cute Christmas read to get you into the right frame of mind. Definitely a must read

A cute, fun holiday read. There is talk of loss and trying to cope (or avoid) it. I think it was done well and the characters were lovable... minus Amber! She was just plain awful and couldn't stand her but im pretty sure that was what the author was going for. I liked it and recommend picking this up.

“Your parents loved you, more than anything in this world. They had a fuller life with you in it and you get to carry on the memories of them. And if you do want kids, you get to tell them about their grandparents and how amazing they were. How much they loved you and each other. Carry on the traditions your parents taught you. That is what I know. Kids or no kids, I'm yours."

How do you forget about the other half of you? Your person?

Every time I'm with her. its like the world shines a little brighter. Being together feels right and it took some convincing for her to take that leap with me. We have plenty of time to figure out what having a future together means for both of us
