** spoiler alert ** This was a really interesting book and I loved the family dynamic in it. It had a good pace and I was never bored. The only thing I would change is who the murder was. I thought it was so out of the blue and made no sense.

Tandy and her family are again in trouble. Her brother, Matthew, has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend. Dangerous creatures like snakes and deadly spiders have invaded the Dakota apartment building where they live, and several young girls from private schools like Tandy's have been shot and killed. Suddenly Tandy finds herself trying to solve three cases at once, but she is distracted because she has remembered something that Fable Haven tried to take away from her: memories of the boy she loves. This was another good story by Patterson and Paetro. The character of Tandy is such an interesting and unique character as are her brothers and their friends. In this story; however, Tandy is almost overshadowed by the three mysteries she is trying to solve. The book would have been better if more time was spent on the development of one of the three cases rather than suddenly solving all three near the end of the book. I'm still looking forward to reading the third book in the series, Confessions, The Paris Mysteries.
