Games We Play One Night Series: Book 1
Reviews

Nice!

A good book for when you’re in the mood *wink*, but as you can see from my start-to-finish, I wasn’t in the mood. It was a fast, hot read and I loved their dynamic. Sure do love smut with a side of plot

The plot didn’t keep me… but the 🌶🌶🌶🌶 did. 😮

was fun 🤷♀️

3.5 i wasnt supposed to love this as much as i did..

we love a book that is 99.9% smut and 0.1% plot

Recanting my review.

The story itself could have used a little work but it’s also a novella so you have cram more into such a short amount of pages. I would definitely read it again! Although I don’t think people read this for the story line. Holy spice!! It’s also a play off of joker and Harley Quinn.

I read it in 180 minutes without a break. The first book i read that quick. I didn’t really like the beginning, also didn’t like how it was only the perspective of the guy but from the middle I actually started liking it. I recommend it to my friend but I’m afraid he’s gonna think I’m weird because of the beginning.. anyways, I’m reading the second book of the one night series and I can’t continue it. It’s really boring.

Short but good. I loved it I have read it a least 5 times. Light read with good smut

reread with audiobook 1/22/22 Loved this just as much as I did the first time and thought the audiobook was decent! A bit much at times, but I thought the dude did a great job. It was the perfect audiobook to listen to while I did laundry, organize clothes, etc. and it was easily the best 3 hours of chores I’d ever done lmao. - - - - - Honestly, for this being a novella, I think the author did a great job creating a compelling story and characters that I was rooting for in such a short amount of time. I know there are lots if mixed reviews for this one, but it totally worked for me. Namely for the following reasons: 1. I feel like it’s rare to read a book like this solely in the man’s perspective and I absolutely loved that about this book. 2. Tacking on to #1, I truly liked Jack’s character. He had his dominating side where he was demanding and possessive, but also his cute little cinnamon roll side where he was soft and sweet, just for Quin. I loved watching him unravel just for her. It was *chefs kiss. 3. I loved that Quin was a main character with an “imperfect” body. Reading about a woman with stretch marks, soft belly, etc. and having a man worship her was refreshing and made me feel seen. I was hesitant about this one, but so glad I dove in! I’m excited to read some of this author’s other works.

Idk, like i really dk

Changing my review because I found out the author plagiarized. 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

Need a novella to get you in the mood and lets you dive into a fantasy for an hour? Then I recommend Games We Play by Dana Isaly ! “Are you going to be a good girl for me tonight, Quinlan?” You will not forget this novella. The Joker made himself so memorable. He’s hot, kinky, fit, with a mind filled with debauchery, but he’s also charming and sweet. Yes, I’m actually currently swooning over him and his smirks and his voice, which he uses to bring people’s sexual fantasies to life. 🥵 I loved that this book was in the hero’s perspective, especially when it came to the whole night of degradation and debauchery. It definitely amped the spicy level. 🔥 I was close to panting over Jack and everything he brought to the table. 🥵 There’s this gaming scene that leaves me needing at least five ice-cold baths. *fans face* Read if you like: • dirty talk • kink • bdsm • degradation • charming hero Spice: 4/5 🔥

Listen. I came for the smut. It delivered. What lost me was the attempt at plot there in the middle. Sorry, but it was not necessary lol. Just I've me the gamer smut, thx. TW: suicide
