The Search for Head Rook

Head Rook of Somerset is hit by a car. The Parker family witness the accident on their journey from Nottingham to Cornwall and, thinking the rook is dead, take it with them to bury it properly in the garden at Fuchsia Cottage in Porthcurrion. Jackdaw reports Head Rook's disappearance to the elders in the local rookery, Rookville S14, and they summon Great Western Rook from the Western Rookdom headquarters on the border of Devon and Cornwall. The Western Rooks embark upon their biggest search since the time of The Great Winds.
