It’s been a while since I picked up a Dean Koontz novel so it felt great getting back into his strange world of writing.
While this book was heartbreaking through some moments I love how the main characters found ways to keep moving forward through their pain. The depth of Shep, the heart Dylan has and the spirit of Jilly made the three such a phenomenal team.
This book could be a five star for some but I tend to get a little tired of lengthy descriptions of things like plants. Also, I would have liked to see some of Jillian’s comedy come out since that is her career path but I found her personality to be far too serious for a comedian.
