Reviews

** spoiler alert ** I’ve read all the books so far and wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one as I hadn’t liked what rider had done so far. But I have to say I felt sorry for Rider within the first couple of chapters. And the plot twist of who harmony was, was the BEST! It just made it 10 times better. I didn’t however like that they were still outcast at the end, the 2 of them from the club. I knew they wouldn’t easily forgive Rider but I thought maybe they would have let him in for Bella’s sake. Loved how the sisters all stood up to save Rider as well and how they forgave him. As well as how smiler was still trying to be his brother even against all the other brothers in the club. Very good read and looking forward to AK’s story now. I love how I’m each book we still get a glimpse of the other couples and how they’re lives are going I feel I have to read all the books now so I don’t miss anything

First Impressions
Deep Redemption is the fourth installment in the "Hades Hangmen" series and it feels like forever since I was in this series and I am not sure why it took me so long, well I kinda do, I knew this book would be angsty as all get out and would be one of the darkest books in the series. I honestly didn't know what to expect when I entered this book but this one completely threw me for a emotional loop. It had me hooked, line and sinker from the very beginning. There was something so compelling about the beginning of this book and I knew I would be in for a wild ride. If you think you know what to expect with this book, you are completely wrong. You definitely don't know what you are getting into with this one here. There are so many twists and turns and I guarantee that this book will turn you upside down and sideways just on a emotional level, this book completely TORE ME UP! And I am not okay!
First Line
Hades' soulless black eyes stared down at me
The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Prophet Cain (aka Rider)
Once part of the Hades Hangmen MC, born to be the leader of the religious cult, seeking redemption for his sins against the innocent
The Heroine: Harmony (cursed daughters of Eve)
Born into the cult, but was destined for more. She is courageous and strong and has a sweet forgiving soul.
Summary
Rider was raised to be seperated from the religious cult he was born into it. He is a twin and was always expected to be the Prophet Cain. He was convinced to infiltrate the MC "Hades Hangmen" but what he discovered there was a brotherhood and family and a beautiful life he could have had. But his vows he thought were of worth but when he discovers that the religious cult that he has believed in all of his life is not what he expected, he is determined to get redemption for. He is betrayed by his twin and tortured to fall into line with what the cult actually is. But his twin is literally insane and when in his prison he meets a beauty of grace and love and courage, he quickly falls hard for Harmony. Harmony has always known what she was destined for, and in order to save those that she loves, she needs to make the sacrifice to be the bride for Rider's twin. But when she falls hard for this strong man packed with sins and fight, she is willing to stand by his side and fight with and for him...
What I Loved
Deep Redemption is a story that I didn't expect to fall hard for. I expected this book to be a regular solid read like the previous three books were for me, but this book completely threw me off the field with his destruction and beautiful epic love I never thought that I would find. This is a story that is so much about redemption, healing and forgiveness and finding love when you least expect it. Seeing this villain of sorts find his redemption story was so heartfelt. You see his confusion, his pain, his soul being torn into two and at a loss at what to do. And once he finds the truth, he does what is needed. I really adored Rider's story and it was everything I could have hoped for and more.
Seeing Rider and Harmony come together was so precious. These two souls that are so caught up in the deception and lies and sacrifice will entangle your heart so completely. This is not an easy one to read, but its a romance that is worth your heart and focus. What Rider is willing to sacrifice for his woman leaves one humbled. This book is HIS journey and what a road he goes on here. And it doesn't end when he is determined to get free of the cult. He also has to make amends with the Hades Hangmen MC and in doing so it will tear the club apart literally. It broke my heart seeing what the MC puts him through but also what our strong women so far stand for their sister and for Rider who may not have participated in their suffering but was complicet. But for them to stand by his side because Harmony loves him and will sacrifice herself for him strikes deep to the soul. We still don't know what will happen to Rider and Harmony fully, I am hoping we get those answers in the upcoming books though. But despite the HFN type of ending, it still left me swoony and satisfied.
What I Struggled With
Other than a more satisfied ending but its still a five star! bUT CROSSING FINGERS we see this couple find the happy ending they deserve.

Favorite Quote(s)
"I'm not good," he argued. "I don't believe that."
I smiled. Pressing my forehead to his, I said, "Then I will believe it for you."
"I would gladly be his redemption, if he would finally forgive himself first."
"I...I have no home," he said sadly.
Taking his hand from my face, I placed it over my racing heart. "Yes you do. Your home is right here."
She credited me with saving her life when really, she had saved me in every single way possible. She gave me life when she spoke to me through that stone wall. She gave me hope when she wanted me despite who I was. And she fought the Hangmen for me when I should have died.
I focused on solely on the moment, letting the past drift away. Because only this was important. No religion, no duty, no club…just us. JUST HER.
The woman in my arms.
My heart. My soul…MY DEEPEST REDEMPTION.

I’m still processing everything I read... Wow... Flame and Maddie are still my favorites, but wow. Rider and Harmony are a close second fave. I loved Harmony’s strength. I seriously wish we haven’t seen the last of her in this series because I love that fire-cracker. And Rider. This was the redemption story he needed and I’m so happy Tillie wrote it.

I KNEWWWW THIS WAS GONNA WREK ME BUT WHAT THE FUCK???? This series is very had to read bc you need to be in proper headspace to read what horror our characters are going through however NOT ONE book in the series las let me down so far. It made me sob through and through but it was worth it.

Man, Tillie Cole knows how to write powerful dark romance that you cannot stop reading because you will need to know what happens. And she did it with Deep Redemption. Deep Redemption starts off where the last one ended so all reader will need to read all them in order. It will start off dark but you will get to know all of their emotions running high. It is definitely expected that no one likes Cain at all. But reader will get a new side of Cain that they never seen at all. It is a different version that he probably going to be redeem. You are going to either like him or not. But you will definitely get a bigger surprise in Deep Redemption. Guess who back? A prisoner who is sweet and innocent that draws Cain attention. She is someone who we have heard about that every reader will be delighted about it. But you will get a dose of surprise about who she is and how much she has change over the years. While Cain and the prisoner falling in love, there will also be extra force that they will need to deal with. It is going to be very dark that most reader will not be comfortable about it. But other reader will want to read it to know what is the end of it. Deep Redemption will catch you off guard since there are many surprises coming that it will keep you interest from the beginning. Four Stars.

Rider and Harmony are everything. “I know what it is like to harbor feelings for a man people greatly disapprove of. Who people regard as wrong, unsalvageable or sinful. But I also know what it is like when you are in their arms. In their hearts. It is different. You can make them different . . . you can show them that they too can be saved, even when they believe they are a lost cause.” Rider. Prophet Cain. The man who was beloved under false pretenses in both capacities- or well in his case, both of the “families” he thought he had. One was self made- the other left a legacy. Only one did he ever end up truly wanting to be a part of, until he opened his eyes and truly saw it for what it was. Harmony. A cursed; one willing to be a sacrifice to end the evil that has overtaken her entire life. She didn’t expect to see the man on the other side of the wall, nor did she expect him to chip away the walls that had been built up around her heart. “Deep Redemption,” is book four in the Hades Hangmen Series by Tillie Cole. It surrounds the pairing of Cain and Harmony. By chance they were put together; it gave Harmony a second chance at having a life - and within her strength he found the ability to atone. To make his wrongs right. To take ownership in his cowardice. I didn’t think Rider was redeemable going into this book; but after binging this story, he made up for it tenfold. He was vulnerable, and cracked wide open. They were the balm the other needed to heal. Harmony was Riders home, and in that Harmony found peace and someone that loved her more than surface deep. This quickly became one of my favorites of the series and I’m so anxious to continue on in this series. Trigger Warning Advised

Originally posted at Booklovers For Life Deep Redemption has been an anticipated read of mine since Rider first appeared in the first Hades Hangmen novel. I was extremely curious to see how Tillie Cole would play out Rider/Cain’s book, and now that it’s here, I really couldn’t see it playing out any other way than it did. This book is… intense. Graphic. Raw and uncensored. It’s not an easy read, but if you’re a fan of the series, you’ll probably want to get your hands on this book. SO many things happen, and all I can say is that I’m glad this isn’t the end of the Hades Hangmen yet! I had been two men in my life. I was beginning to understand that neither of them were real. They were both the ultimate pretenders. Rider pretended to be a Hangman, but always stood on the outside, looking in. Cain pretended he was a prophet, outwardly faking strength, yet drowning in fear underneath. But if both of these men were a ruse, then who the hell was I? Who was the real me? I had absolutely no idea. Rider, aka Prophet Cain, has been led to believe one thing his entire life, but after some shocking and horrifying revelations about his religion and cult, he’s questioning everything – including himself. He’s been marked a traitor of his people and his own twin has thrown him in prison. Day in and out he is punished, beaten for his betrayal. There is no hope for him… until a beautiful girl is thrown into the cell next to him, and they form a bond unlike anything else. Harmony herself has been marked a Cursed Sister of Eve and is sentenced to a marriage with a cruel man. Will they ever find a way out of the dark? Will they be free to love each other? And who exactly is Harmony? “A pure soul always finds love. Even through hate, they will always find the ability to claim love.” “I’m not good,” he argued. “I don’t believe that.” I smiled. Pressing my forehead to his, I said, “Then I will believe it for you.” I wasn’t one of those readers who totally hated Rider, so his whole redemption wasn’t the main focus for me, but the romance between him and Harmony was. They are so freaking sweet together – I wish we’d gotten more romance instead of all the cult-related things. Honestly, the things that went on in Rider’s cult turned my stomach, and I had to skim some parts because I was just too disgusted to read some of what happened. For those of you who are curious about Rider’s redemption though, IMO Tillie Cole redeemed him very well. In the end, I just felt so bad for him, so I thought he deserved any chance at happiness he could get. In the end, she had been the greatest blessing I could ever have prayed for. A sin for the ultimate sinner. I didn’t entirely love Deep Redemption (Heart Recaptured will still be my favorite Hades Hangmen book) but this book kept me on the edge of my seat and hooked on the story. I was biting my nails, terrified for Rider and Harmony, wanting them to get their HEA. It’s a raw, gritty, unfiltered novel, and fans of the series will more than likely enjoy this newest installment. If you’re new to the series, I highly recommend reading the books in order – though they’re about different couples, the over-arcing storyline continues throughout the story, so you might be a bit lost if you start in the middle. This is one of the best dark MC series I’ve read, and I’m dying to get more already! The next book will be AK and Phebe’s – I can’t wait for it!
