I'm a strange person. I've known it my whole life. So when I got the sudden urge to read a culinary romance(its that even a thing?) I was not surprised nor did I question it. I just did it. Overall, it was a nice solid romance and it made me laugh a couple of times. If anything it did not talk about food enough. My search for a good culinary romance is still on.

It would have been better if there was just less unecessary plot points. It's a 300 pages romance novel it's better to focus on the two leads rather than the side characters that no one cares about

Need to come back to this and write a more thorough review. I wanted to punch the hero and Granny Gloria needs to go. Seriously. That said, the cast of characters was great and the story building kept me engaged so it still gets 3-stars. I probably would have dnf'd if it weren't on Audible Escape. My Ratings: 5*****I loved this book, consider it an all time favorite 4**** Thoroughly enjoyed the book and will recommend it 3*** I liked it well enough, 2** Brain Candy - It was okay. Writing mediocre, will keep/re-read if part of a series 1* didn't like/possibly not finished.
