Think I just found my first 5 star read of 2022. I really loved the character, the struggles, their personalities and the star of this book doc. Also think that I have a soft spot for books with the successfull romantic interest and the normal mc <3

I loved this. I listened to the audiobook and absolutely loved the narration. Whenever I wasn't listening to it I was constantly thinking about it.

This was cute and sweet. There was some *not like other girls* rhetoric from the male viewpoint that skeeved me out. There was good anxiety/mental health rep. Respect from the partner the disorders. That was refreshing to read.

4.5 ⭐️ THIS BOOK HAD NO BUSINESS BEING THIS GOOD. idk if it was the audiobook in general, Jacob Morgan talking in a British accent, or the fact that Griffin was literally perfect. I really can't pinpoint where my love began. Maybe it had something to do with the CHILDHOOD FRIENDS-TO-LOVERS thing it had going on which just enhanced the entirety of their relationship. the only thing that I found kinda annoying was the FMC because she was making it so difficult for him to love her but whatever. this was everything my 13yro fanfic obsessed heart needed and more. Griffin I love you and I wish you were real.

(3.5 stars out of 5) I’m not sure if it was just my version of this book or it’s like this everywhere, but the main thing that I didn’t like was letter formatting. If you include letters, please, use italics, or something else to make it stand out more. Don’t blend it in with the rest of the text. ESPECIALLY if you are planning to divide the reading process in two parts. I don’t want to be more confused as I need to be. Thank you. P.S. Now I finally understand why the book is called the way it is, ha.

All up in my feels … I love this duo. The stories they tell have this a really good “soap opera” quality. Luca and Griffin would be a super soap couple, EPIC. This book also features some of a couple of my favorite tropes; friends to lovers, and rock star. This book was definitely an emotional ride but it was totes worth it!

Super cute romance with some serious topics!

Yup. Provável.

The audiobook is done very well.
This book is quick and entertaining. There are a few weird moments but overall it provided a nice distraction and was a good story.

Eh.. this book just didn’t do it for me. I loved the whole premise of childhood pen pals being reconnected after a falling out, but was overall left feeling.. Disappointed? Maybe it’s just me, but the progression of their relationship after they reconnected seemed rushed and just weird. It almost felt like insta-love? I mean, I get that their friendship was years in the making due to their childhood letters, but it stopped for 8 years and it’s just hard to believe it could have gone from 0-100 like it did lmao. I’m sad I didn’t end up liking this, but it had corny and weird moments that I just couldn’t overlook. 🤷🏻♀️

it was a good read but the story was super rushed! and the letters are not spicy, something was missing! They fallen in love super fast, like what?

Este libro es la cosa más preciosa de este mundo. No mentiré, terminé llorando. Griffin y Luca? unos bebés preciosos que se merecen toda la felicidad del mundo.

2.5 i think ? some parts were cute and the epilogue broke my heart a little

My favourite part is the pet pig.

Sobbing my eyes out I just love happy endings you know 😭 I loved Griffin and Luca’s story so much! I also love the whole pen pal trope, one of us is famous trope and childhood penpals/friends to lovers trope. So if you love those tropes this book is for you! I adored every second of it ate it up in one sitting! I think the way these two authors teamed up to write such a beautiful love story about loss, the stages of grief and life as a whole was so good. Definitely loved that from the minute I read the first chapter. Pick this underrated book up!

100\5 stars I think this is going to be the best read of this year!!! Read this in about 3.5-4 hours it was amazing

This was cute and sweet. There was some *not like other girls* rhetoric from the male viewpoint that skeeved me out. There was good anxiety/mental health rep. Respect from the partner the disorders. That was refreshing to read.

Are you struggling with mental health issues after 2 years of a pandemic outbreak and a lifetime of no hope in true love due to trusting all the wrong people? This may be the book for you. The way that this love story has a lot more than meets the eye is absolutely astounding. You may pick up the book and judge the awful title, but not judging a book by its cover is a part of being a passionate reader. Looking beyond the hot scenes - and I mean H O T - is a huge part of understanding all that is beneath this love story and the real struggles of modern day dating for people with social anxiety. I don’t want you to pick up this book thinking you’re going to read your ordinary trashy romance novel - I want you to pick it up, give it a little nudge, hold it closely to your heart and say “I will get through this, I am worthy of love and this book will give me hope.” - then you can open it up and start reading a very cool and light, even though v e r y deep, story about love. Also, it’s fiction, so it has a lot of coinkydinks they mistake for fate, allow me to disagree with the character’s take: it wasn’t fate, it was hard work, it was struggle, it was investment. It’s not about loving someone without conditions, it’s about creating all the right conditions to love someone.

“My mum used to say I hold grudges. But I prefer to think of it as I remember the facts.” WHY AREN'T MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT HOW INCREDIBLE THIS BOOK IS!?!?!?! A friend of mine recommended Dirty Letters as an audiobook, and it came at the perfect time after a little bit of an audiobook slump. Jumping into this one, I thought it would be all sorts of shades of dirty, but I was surprised but how sweet the story was along with bringing to light the MC's mental healthy journey and healing. This book is about family, first love, second chances, mental health awareness, and my favorite.. music... (sing to me honey!!!!!!) Griff stole my heart from the very moment I heard his voice. Sexy, sweet and a his favorite way to talk is by flirting. If you want to meet your next unforgettable book bae, LOOK NO FURTHER. I laughed, I teared up, and I fell head over heels in love. This book is what a good romance is made of. Rating: story-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ narrators-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ steam- careful with these letters... they are HAWT HAWT HAWT (just bring mittens) song:Soul Mate by flora cash

Ok, so this is a 3.5 or 4/5 because it was a great book. I loved it, it was such an easy and fast read which was great because I had some very busy days. If you are reading this, just know that there is no plot. Still, I loved Griffin so much and I ADORED that I could listen to the song he wrote for Luca!!! Amazing <{3

Problematic elements RUINED what could've been a great story Problem #1 - Luca thinks that it's VITAL to share that she's 125 pounds with Griffin. Problem #2 - There's a line I don't care to repeat that's quite offensive to indigenous peoples ************** Besides those two, this book is just disappointing, y'all. The spice is TERRIBLE. Like, the way people are marketing this book, you'd think it's a spicy romance, but really it's just lightly dusted with a couple specks of spice. The title is literally "Dirty Letters." WHERE ARE THE DIRTY LETTERS??? Anyway, I'm annoyed and tired of books being misrepresented. This book is a 1/5 on the spicy scale, and that's me being GENEROUS.

5 FUCKING STARS! I absolutely devoured this book literally read it in like 4 hours I couldn’t stop it was so good omfg 😭 I recommend this book so hard 🥺

Being completely honest I don't remember all of my thoughts on this book. I can't tell if I just have a bad memory or if this book was just forgettable. I thought the characters were interesting enough. But I didn't really feel any attraction between them really.

Initially I loved these two authors and the books they wrote together. They were an automatic buy. Their last few ones haven’t been my cup of tea. So thanks to Kindle Unlimited, I borrowed this book. I can honestly say I loved it. It was the first book in a while, that I was eager to finish but also didn’t want to (finish) because I knew it would be over. I loved it enough to purchase it once I finished it. The story itself was unique to me. Had some familiar themes: rockstar, second chance, first love, angst and mental illness. But I loved the way it was written. I loved that the characters stayed true to themselves. Griffin was an amazing H. So patient but honest. It was really refreshing to see an H that wanted to make it work but didn’t end up resorting to cliched tropes. I loved him. Luca, on the other hand, while sometimes I could really relate to her other times I found myself frustrated. But such is the nature of mental illness. But I loved how she pushed through and was committed to making progress. I love Doc as well. I highly recommend this book. If you’re unsure, try it on Kindle Unlimited, but trust me, you’re going to want to own it.
