The Daffodil Mystery

When Thomas Lyne insults Odette she resigns. Having summoned detective Jack Tarling to investigate another employee, Lyne changes his plans. He and his Chinese companion pay a visit to Odette's flat. In the hall Tarling meets Sam, convicted felon. Next morning, Tarling discovers a body, adorned with a handful of daffodils.
