This entire series is awesome. I reread them all the time. So good

This book is literally one of my daydreams brought to life. It was so funny and just a fun time to read.

I don't have a lot of things to say about this book. In general, I enjoy reading Penny Reid's works. The first one I've read was the Neanderthal Seeks Human from the Knitting in the city series, which I loved and to be honest is the series I like the most from her. Before this one, I started reading Marriage of Inconvenience but I didn't finish it, mostly because I didn't like that much the couple featuring in the book.. So I decided this month, it was time to read a different series from her. Elements of chemistry is a three part book. We have Kaitlyn, a college student from a very important family of scientists and a politician, very smart, rational, logical, kind of innocent and inexperienced, with a habit of whispering synonyms when she feels stressed. She has a crush for her lab partner, Martin, the heir of a billionaire, who make women fall in love with him, wherever he goes. The story begins when she overhears a plot against him and save him. The story and dialogues were funny and witty. I liked most of the characters and a lot of the situations they found themselves in, but one of my main issues with this book was that it was too long. All three parts together were almost 600 pages. It felt repetitive and boring sometimes. My other issue was that it didn't feel real.I don't like the kind of stories that the characters are too much of everything. Too smart, too rich, too hot, too innocent, too weird, very important etc. This was the case here. When I read a romantic story, I prefer the heroine/ heroe to be more relatable. All in all, I enjoyed the book, it was a nice and funny story, but I would like it more if it wasn't that long and the characters were more realistic.
