Cliff and Jenna have a bit of a bumpy start - meeting when a new born baby has just been abducted from the hospital that Cliff has just dropped a military buddy at.
Jenna is smart, independent and a complete butt-kicking character. She is a great FBI agent, male, female or otherwise. She put up with her ex for far too long and now she won't accept anything less than fireworks.
Cliff may have PTSD from his time in the SEALs but he's not finished serving just yet. He's found a new way to serve and his first assignment has led him to the intriguing and feisty Jenna. Whilst Jenna technically isn't in need of saving throughout most of the book, she does need a helping hand to get out of a sticky situation.
