           If you loved After, you’ll love this one too! It has major After vibes with that same addicting thing about it that just pulls you in! I saw so many negative reviews before going into this, but I’m glad I ignored them and gave it a go because I really enjoyed it. 

I really liked the small beach town aesthetic of this book. Cooper and Mac are your typical ‘opposites attract’ couple. They’re two completely different people who somehow just fit together! I loved their connection and the banter between them. In the beginning, Mac’s character felt way too naive to me but I’m glad she got great character development through the story. 

There was only one thing that I didn’t love. I don’t mind the whole dare/bet storyline in a book, I just didn’t love how this one started out on the basis that he wanted to get revenge on Mac’s boyfriend…like it’s not her fault that her boyfriends a dick🤣 Putting that aside, I really enjoyed this book and I’m excited for Evan’s book next!
