Emily Carroll is a master of horror. Ann by the Bed is a short, but terrifying story about an unsolved murder in Ontario and the strange urban legends that popped up to explain what happened. It bounces between the past, slumber party games, and academics, and is just utterly perfect for delivering some good chills up your spine. As always, Carroll's artwork is wonderfully creepy, and any horror fan will be glad to have read this short piece!
