Web of Innocence

I'm a normal college student. Studious, antisocial, obsessed with spiders. Okay. Maybe normal isn't the right word. One night at a local junk store, I find a spider in a glass cube. It's weird and a little creepy, but I want it anyway. And then I hear a voice--the spider's voice. He says his name is Thane and he needs my help. I'm thrown into a world I didn't know existed. A world of magic, myth, and legends. I'm the only one who can free Thane. Every good story involves a heroic quest. I just hope Thane's enemies don't kill me first.
