The Man Who Loved Lions

This novel is a psychological thriller that tells the story of Ann Sherborne, a well-traveled young woman. She returns to England for a planned reunion. Sir Benjamin Watson has built a private zoo on the premises of his country house, 'Ganges,' complete with snakes, elephants, tigers, and lions. Ann Sherborne arrives at the Ganges for a long-awaited reunion with university friends. As tensions rise among the reunited companions, Ann suspects that somebody among them is spawning a devious and dangerous plot involving the zoo animals.
