We Are Third Culture Kids

We Are Third Culture Kids

Finally, a book for third culture kids! Written by TCKs for TCKs and those that love them. This book came from a conversation our family has had many times. Having multiple cultures can make it difficult for kids to answer, where are you from? We want to honor and celebrate all parts of that child, and not make them leave parts out. So explore with us as we meet a few third culture kids and learn a little more about their lives. Learn flags and small bits from a few different cultures. Our hope is this book will start a conversation with all TCKs and show them it's okay to have a complicated answer to a "simple" question. About the authors. Noah Miller is 8 years old. (About to turn 9) He has been traveling the world since he was a baby. He was born in a different country than his parents. His best friend is his brother/ twin/ co-author, Ezra. He loves planes, engines, trains, construction and anything that moves. He says writing his first book was challenging and complicated but he was happy to write something to help TCKs like him. Ezra Miller is 8 years old too. He has been traveling all his life. He loves traveling because usually there is a toaster to use, which he loves. (It's special since his parents don't have one.) He loves predators, dinosaurs, cheetahs, panthers, alligators, sharks, snakes, and rabbits. (Which are predators in his favorite series Green Ember) He learnt a lot writing this book and he enjoyed the process. He says this is his one and only book, so enjoy it. Illustrator is our Dad, Zachary N Miller. Thanks to COVID, he took up drawing.: )
