Finding Cinderella A Novella
Reviews

Easily the worst thing I have ever read.

It was ok

Not worth it It begins with a misleading hint at a mystery, but it turns out to just be a horny teen, turned on by everything throughout the whole book. Very little happens, most of which is crammed onto the last few pages and hardly interesting in the first place. Full of cringe, nonsense, no plot, only flat characters. One of those books that doesn't deserve to be called book.

It was just meh! I understand that this is suppose to be a love story and finding true love but having high schools students with this level of deep processing and understanding is a bit unrealistic. I could understand this story if they were older. I don’t understand books that are pushing young people into sex so quickly. Trigger: strong language

this book is a cute fever dream

That was actually a pretty easy read. Well, I should have figured based on people's reviews. Okay, so, this is actually what I was hoping for when I read (but never bothered finishing) Losing Hope -- the second installment in this series. With this, I got a whole new story. Although it's not about Sky/Hope and Holder, it's at least something new and not just a repeat of the same damn book only with a few words and sentences tweaked. The only thing that I dislike is how short this was. I want more of Daniel and Six but I guess I'm not getting that so I may as well get over it and move on now. It still sucks, though. But overall, I truly liked this. I'm happy I gave it a chance. *** PRE-READ I've read pretty much every Colleen Hoover book (except this and the Maybe series) so might as well get this one over with. Besides, based on the reviews below, this one's not about Hope/Sky and Holder but Daniel (Holder's best friend) and Six. So at least it's not going to be the same characters and I get something new since Losing Hope was a fucking disaster.

Love this series so much!!! It makes me feel so much, good and bad! It’s so funny, Daniel and his family don’t ever fail at making me laugh!

** spoiler alert ** I really liked this, but read it not knowing it was part of a series It made sense as a standalone, but I definitely want to go back and read the rest I do think there were some logical fallacies (like the fact that neither of them ask how she got pregnant when they used a condom) but I enjoyed this nonetheless

Got me bamboozled

Well, that was the first time I’d ever finished a book in a day. Granted, it was a novella and only 130 pages. It just goes to show that even extremely talented authors like Colleen Hoover can write something amazing in just over a hundred pages. Finding Cinderella was a wonderfully enjoyable short read. It’s the kind of book you read during a short trip, a car ride, a couple hour long flight. It has a beautiful opening, and a wonderfully happily ever after. Even the funniest and the most unlikely of people can fall in love given the right circumstances. Due to a happy mistake done by school administration, every fifth period, Daniel situates himself in the maintenance room for an afternoon nap between classes. One unsuspecting afternoon, a young girl falls on top of him, interrupting his sleep. What neither of them know is that this chance meeting is going to change their lives forever. How is it possible that you can fall in love with a person you’ve never seen? Or made love to a person when you don’t even know what they look like? A year later, Daniel is introduced to Six, who has returned from her semester abroad. Every terrible experience he’s had in his most recent relationship seems to wash away upon this strange girl with this strangely amusing personality. Whether or not Six is the mysterious girl from the closet, he finds himself falling for her, and fast and only just when they’ve both found their happily ever after, a secret truth comes to life, potentially shattering their happy ending. In truth, I’m pretty sure I knew Six was Daniel’s Cinderella. Something in Losing Hope, if I remember correctly just gave me the indication that Six was the same girl that fell into Daniel’s maintenance closet. I’m happy they found each other, I think it’s just ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. I can’t imagine pretending to love someone and to make love to them without knowing what they look like, and then being hung up over them for a year… I can’t imagine having an experience with someone and having them on my mind even a year later. I wish I could have an experience like that, as I’m not very well experienced. Daniel and Six honestly just make me laugh. They are what you would probably consider “class clowns”. Six has class and tact, Daniel just has a weird personality thanks to his odd parents. You know what they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Both characters are humorous, dirty minded, and have the same personality. It’s uncanny. It’s literally a perfect match made in….a maintenance closet. It’s the kind of love you want to find with someone that’s an equal balance of what you are. You want someone who’s funny, who gets you, who knows how to be serious and who knows how to take you seriously when you need it. That’s what Daniel is to Six and that’s how she is with him. “Are you going to tell me how awesome that kiss was or are you going to ignore it?” She shakes her head and laughs at me. “That wasn’t even a real kiss,” she says. “You didn’t even try to put your tongue in my mouth.” I push open the doors to walk outside, but step aside and let her out first. “I didn’t have to put my tongue in your mouth,” I say. “My kisses are that intense. I don’t even really have to do anything. The only reason I pulled back was that I was sure we were about to experience a classic ‘When Harry met Sally’ moment.” Every woman deserves a guy who’s not only loving and caring, but someone who’s funny, who gets her and her randomness. Lord knows that person doesn’t exist for me. I mean I randomly break out into song, or quote movie quotes just…randomly. We all need someone who gets us, and Daniel and Six are lucky to have found the one person that gets them. Seriously, how lucky do you have to be to find your significant other in a maintenance closet. Finding Cinderella is a wonderful companion novel/novella for the Hopeless series, and really does make you believe in fairy tales and happily ever afters when you least expect them. Who knows, maybe you’ve already met your Prince Charming and just don’t know it yet. 4/5 Hearts of Love Check out the rest of my reviews at http://www.akiikomorireading.com

This is a short novella that belongs to the hopeless series. It‘s about Dean‘s and Sky‘s best friends and their love story. It‘s a little less than 200 pages and I enjoyed each one of them. There was quite the plot twist at the end that I personally didn‘t see coming. The only „negative“ about this one was that the ending was quite rushed but that‘s again because it wad a novella and not a novel. Othet than that I really liked Daniel, he might be one of my favorite characters.

Nunca pensei dar 5 estrelas a um conto. Mas também nunca pensei que fosse possível gostar mais de alguém do que gostava do Dean e… Hello Daniel

3.5

Finding Cinderella is my love affair. I am hopelessly in love with this story and Daniel and Six. I laughed out loud throughout my journey with this story. It is perfect. It is compelling. It is remarkable. It is beyond everything I have ever read. I have never read a book that has made me laugh SO MUCH. This is the first e-book I have that has been high-lighted A LOT. Almost every page has something high-lighted because everything about this book is loveable. It is "unhateable". This is the first book I have read by Colleen Hoover and she is going on my top 3 favorite authors. I demand you to read this book because you WON'T be disappointed. You will love it forever along with the characters, especially Daniel. I probably cheated on my fiance with Daniel on my mind way too many times. He is not perfect but he is perfect. He has made me laugh like no one else ever has. I hope you don't fall in love with him...I only share him with Six because they are so adorable together! Their chemistry, their unique relationship is spectacular. Colleen, you are the master, you are the queen. You SUCCEEDED with this story and I cannot wait till I read more and more of your work.

omg i ended up liking this a lot more than i expected

2,5⭐* Desearía que este libro no fuera tan con corto porque la relación de Daniel y Six pasó muy rápido

Actual Rating: 4.5 Stars I already had this Novella on kindle because FREE and Colleen Hoover, of course. I had just read Hopeless and decided I should give this short story a go, since I've heard good things about it. I read this rather quickly and I'm wanting more. Why is it only a novella??? This Novella is a spin off of Hopeless. It's about Six and Daniel and their incredible and odd but somehow charming life of live within a year and month! What a love story. I laughed so much during this book, these two characters are just hilarious. You also get a glimpse of Daniel and Holder's cute friendship! Holy fucking shit this novella is amazing!

It was cute. Some parts were predictable.

Los personajes eran muy interesantes y tenían tanto potencial, no creo que Colleen los aprovecho, pudo haber escrito un libro completo sobre ellos con un mejor plot twist, aún así lo disfruté.

The only thing I didn't like about this book, was that it was too short. Already knew a bit about Daniel and Six from Hopeless and Loosing Hope. But here we get to see more of them. They are cute and funny, and weird, and perfect for each other. Can't wait to read Finding Perfect to find out more about their story.

I loved it a lot it was really easy to get through. The characters were enjoyable. I read this as a stand-alone since I never read a book by Colleen Hover, but after this I'll definitely pick up one of her novels when I have the chance. Although I really loved this stand-alone I feel like it could have been more fleshed out than it was. I liked Six but I found hard to sympathize with her since we didn't really get to know the characters.
Highlights

i think if a person is really, truly in love then it has to be unconditional

it only feels perfect because we’re “pretending” it’s perfect
