4.5 stars I can't resist a 99 cent sale and this trilogy struck my fancy. I am obsessed ... like Alayna obsessed. I was instantly enthralled with Alayna and Hudson. Two broken individuals who find each other. Yes, Hudson is that damaged billionaire that is all the rage. I'm a total sucker for it. Book 1 is the intro of their story. We are introduced to the cast of characters and the wounds that have made Alayna and Hudson who they are. It's a whirlwind relationship that seldom goes slow. It was suppose to be Hudson paying Alayna to his pretend girlfriend with some bennies thrown in for free. As I read how it was to go down; I wondered how you could compartmentalize that type of arrangement? Feelings will come into play and they do. I am glad that they did. This book should be called How I spent my weekend, part 1.

3.75 ⭐️ there’s a lot of parts in here i enjoyed & some parts that didn’t hold my attention. i liked it enough to continue & finish and i’m intrigued enough for the second book cause i need to know what happens with my man hudson 👀👀 spice was pretty good and frequent—detailed in some parts, but not all it’s a fast read and things happen pretty quickly
