Not as good at the Dark Knight Returns, better than The Dark Strikes again (not that that's hard). The plot was interesting enough, and I enjoyed the fact that so many DC characters had their own plot points that were woven in and presented in this collection. Miller and Azzarello did a good job at taking the format of the Dark Knight Returns and updating the references for a 2016-2018 audience. However, this still seems like a good place for the saga to end.
