Cabin 12
Reviews

I enjoyed Keeping 6 and was excited to give this one a go. One of my concerns with Keeping 6 was that romance was really heavy in the book and kind of left the suspense part lacking. Some things were kind of unrealistic in my eyes. I have to say in Cabin 12 that is not the case at all. The suspense aspect is actually more center stage than the romance. In Cabin 12 we meet Bella and Jasper. I loved this, because Bella was a character I enjoyed in Keeping 6. She's one of the main characters sisters in that book. She moved away when she had some problems and her family wouldn't leave her alone. She needs some space and living near her brother is the best she can do. Bella is a character that I really loved. She has been through a lot and needs to work through it. Slowly she starts realizing how strong she is and fights for herself. I loved how much she grew in this book! Jasper is the other main character and works with Bella's brother. He's Jasper's boss. His work is everything to him, because he didn't have a family growing up and that's what his team is to him now. I loved Jasper. He is so protective and caring and will do just about anything for someone he loves. Even though he is still learning how to let himself feel. Only Jasper definitely way too much. In the beginning, Jasper and Bella seem like an unlikely pairing, but it works better than you think. They have fun flirting, teasing and even arguing. It's clear there's an attraction, it just takes them awhile. Like I said, the romance isn't center stage, but it doesn't mean you don't feel it! A case Jasper and his team are working on is pretty important and very scary. In the end it has way more things to discover than they expected. It ends up involving them all and it really kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved that the author doesn't drag it out, but gives just the right amount of holding off on information. All in all, this book is a great combination of romance and suspense. We get the sweet, romantic and sexy moments we crave in a book like this, but also suspense that leaves you wanting more. And for readers who read Keeping 6, you get a look at how the characters are doing from the first book. I love when authors do that. I really hope the author gives us more books in this series!
