Okay, WOW! The Time Travelers was unexpectedly good. It is confusing at first, I'll warn you. The character perspective switching can get a little annoying, and it's hard to memorize everyone's names, but don't worry, it'll get better. I usually do not read historical fiction. This was the most action packed historical fiction I have read in my life! Some of the characters were weird, while some of the other characters were flat and boring. This was the greatest flaw for me. However, I did really really like the Tar Man/Blueskin. I found him and his past very intriguing, and I loveloveloved how he stood up for Gideon on hanging day. I can't wait to find out why, though I have several guesses. On the other hand, Sidney kind of made me want to pull my hair and scream at the book. I wouldn't fall over recommending The Time Travelers, but it's a solid story and an enjoyable read.
