Guardians of the Galaxy New Guard Vol. 1 - Emperor Quill

I read this simply because I loved the movie. The first part was great but I didn't like the fact that it wasn't a continuous story. Mostly because the art style changed and I thought it was right in the middle of a great story when it seems to time-jump forward quite a bit. I think the story will be picked back up in the next volume but it was still not something I liked. But the humor in this was great. I do like the end where Rocket finds out he might not be alone in the world, he was one of the saddest stories for me in the movie. I also really enjoy that Star-Lord isn't something Peter made up, its actually his title in the story, that is just too great.

this was a birthday gift from my best frined and i loved this.

Meh. I'm much more excited about the movie. Unfortunately I found this messy and jumpy. Also, this was my first experience with Guardians of the Galaxy, so yeah not a good first choice on my part.

First GotG graphic novel/comic I've read. It was fun seeing Tony in on the action as well. Definitely enjoyed this and will keep reading the series.
