Ysabel

Ysabel

Accompanying his photographer father to the celebrated city of Aix-en-Provence, near Marseilles, 15-year-old Ned Marriner finds himself drawn into a centuries-old romantic triangle when he comes across a strange man exploring the oldest part of the cathedral. Against his will, Ned is drawn into the playing out of an ancient story as the Celtic Phelan (Wolf) and the Roman Cadell (Warrior) battle it out for the hand of the Celtic goddess Ysabel. Events take a shocking turn on the night of Beltane, the ancient Celtic festival, when the borders between the living and the dead are down, culminating in the disappearance of Ned's friend, Melanie. Using powers he never knew he possessed, can Ned change the course of destiny, rescue Melanie, and bring an end to this eternal battle once and for all?
