Savage by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti — 5 stars!!! this is yet the best novella i’ve ever read. it’s short but i can feel everything and though i already saw some snippets of hail and merissa vega in the zodiac academy series itself, i still cannot get over them & i loveeee them already. i can totally see the twins (mostly tory) in merissa, and somehow darius(?) in hail🥲 though maybe it’s because of his order as a hydra. the author note is hinting of these both getting their own book if we like it and I SAY YES PLEASE i will read those if it’s going to be written. though it will probably pretty sad since we who read zodiac academy series already knew how their ending will look like 3 hail and merissa’s fate deserves better, i hope they will get their justice from their children (they MUST) !!! p.s. NO ONE MENTIONS TO ME THAT HAIL VEGA IS THAT HOT PLEASE
So far I have only read Savage by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti which is what drew me to the anthology in the first place as I love the Zodiac Academy Series. I loved this little prequel and the insight it gave to the world before we get to know it in ZA. It was interesting to see the characters for themselves and not from the point of view of the younger characters in ZA and it really helped to get to know them better I’m making my way through this anthology and I’m loving it so far. It’s so great to be able to have picked it up for authors I already know that I love and then also be able to discover other authors and their stories along the way. And the proceeds go to such an important cause!!! Thank you to Wildfire Marketing for the eARC.
