Harbor begins with a double murder and betrayal that intertwines the lives of three people Brook, Vaughn and Shaw. Brook's fiancé was murdered but the twist is that he was found in bed with another woman who happened to the partner of Vaughn and Shaw. The three of them are introduced as a result and sort of bond through this trauma and grief that they have been dealt with. It is easy to fall for these three as they are funny and written so well that they just fit each other. Vaughn the softest person with the biggest heat, Shaw who hides behind mean words to avoid getting hurt and Brook who just wants to be loved. I like how their relationship is played out and also found it realistic how they took the time to grief and heal instead of the story all playing in a few months. Thank you to the author for providing me an early copy in exchange for an honest review.

I just think Rebekah Weatherspoon's writing is not for me. I have tried a couple of her books now and either they've been mediocre or I haven't vibed with. I don't think that means objectively they are bad books at all. I completely understand why my friends have read and loved her books. For me it's just a matter of writing style.

This was heading for a five star but I didn't like some stuff in the second half, particularly how Shaw was treated. So excited to read more from this author though, this was so solid
