There's Always Someday

There's Always Someday

“Give your heart to a man worthy of the claim.” That’s been his constant excuse for keeping distance between us. Little does he know that I’m his for the taking. If only he’d have me. Nolan Jasper has been my broody neighbor for almost six years. I’ve been hopelessly infatuated with him just as long. The bond I have with his little girl only serves to strengthen that hold. Since they moved in that stormy night, I’ve been trying to restore what was lost. I would do just about anything for those two. Acting as Nolan’s reliable doormat is getting old, though. Especially when he seems incapable of accepting love. I’m finally willing to admit that man is a lost cause. He's too broken. Jaded. Withdrawn. Nolan Jasper has pushed me away for the last time. If only he would realize it before I’m already gone.

I have finally finished this book! Honestly, for me it has been a pretty boring book, I had a hard time finishing it and several times I was tempted to abandon it but I resisted and finally finished it. I don't like at all when they start to tell you something in a chapter or something is happening and that situation doesn't end but the chapter ends and the new chapter is a totally different situation (I don’t know if I’m explaining myself). Even when you have finished a chapter, suddenly several weeks have passed in the story. That makes everything very confusing and you don't know what is going on in the book.

This story was definitely an emotional rollercoaster. Clea has had a crush on the single dad next door since the day he moved in 6 years ago. She had made it abundantly clear how she felt about him. She also has helped raise his daughter, Talley. In some ways Talley even feels like her daughter and wants nothing more that Clea to be her “Mama”. Nolan has kept her at arms length for the same amount of time because he is afraid to love anyone and has been torturing himself. Clea has decided that enough is enough and she can’t have the same crush for this long and it has become pathetic. Will Nolan finally pull his head out of his but or will he let her go. There’s Always Someday delivered amazing romance with the broody bad boy that brings you smiles and a happy heart. I did feel like I was continually waiting for the ball to drop and couldn’t figure where things would go wrong. This book is amazing if you are needing a break from the hard and dark books and just need a happy one. The fact that Nolan is a single dad but doesn’t know how to handle a daughter on his own was a huge swoon factor for me.
