I think it's difficult to read about an affair, especially from the POV of the "other woman." I found myself getting enraged with her, which I suppose is a marker of Giffin's writing. She wrote well enough for me to forget that this is just fiction. I think she tried to write Tessa (the cheated ON) so the reader could find fault in her as well, but I have to say, I only felt sympathy.

Interesting choice with the double POV's. I would have liked some chapters to be in Nick's POV. I think it would have rounded it out nicely, but overall, engaging read.
