Mechanics Computing in 1990's and Beyond: Structural and material mechanics

These proceedings consist of extended abstracts of the papers presented at the ASCE Engineering Mechanics Conference held in Columbus, Ohio, May 1991. The first volume is divided into three parts: computational mechanics, fluid mechanics, and biomechanics--discussing such specialized subjects as neural network computing; symbolic processing; damage mechanics; ocean wave dynamics; fluid-structure interaction; joint kinematics; and contact problems in biomechanics. Volume two is concerned with structural and material mechanics including such topics as: vibration analysis of structures; chaotic vibrations; fracture and failure analysis; seismic analysis; microstructure analysis; and micromechanics.
