Loved this book. As usual Abbi Glines did a great job at keeping me engrossed and up when I should have been sleeping. 

Only the second "Sea Breeze" book I read. Tried the first, but found it too juvenile only to later find out the rest of the books are more New Adult. Now I may have to go back and check out the other books.

Loved the cover with Dewayne and all of his tattoos. Even the dreads were cool.

In one word? Unremarkable. I didn't have any expectations, fortunately because I'd have been totally disappointed. The storyline could have been executed better. I did appreciate the back and forth between the timeliness, it kept the book from lagging.

Slight sexualisation of minors, not enough to make the book unreadable. 

I'd say 1 star for the smut, because there was one scene and then another fade-to-black.

I was also generally confused throughout the book on the races of the characters, for no good reason. That was on me. 

Wouldn't recommend, unless unlike me, you are into adult romance that reads like it was written by a child. Go right ahead then.
