The Shadow Out of Time

Rating All 19 Lovecraft Stories Within the Necronomicon (Audible Audio Book) ~ Part 12 - The Shadow out of Time. I really wanted to like this story, I really did, but with its gruellingly slow start and the constant barrage of waffle from Lovecraft which leads the reader down paths which lead nowhere, I felt as if it was me down that dark and foreboding cyclopean structure. And when you finally reach the climax of the story, the payoff was truly disappointing.
