What. A. Wild. Ride!!! I felt like I was reading a personal diary/journal… I just love the way Tarryn writes. Pouring herself into every word. This was one of those books that pulls you in and takes you on a crazy ride and just when you think it’s done… surprise there’s one more intense drop. This book was dark, messy, ugly, but so beautiful. I am blown away by the last paragraph and sitting here with a dropped jaw… what the fuck did I just read!?

Originally titled Bad Mommy, this story follows three different narrators, each time bringing new questions to light, making you wonder who to trust, who is telling the truth and just what really is going on in this suburban nightmare. This book was entertaining, scary and kept me glued until the last page. I found the last chapter to be a fun twist - something a bit different and I wasn’t expecting it at all. The characters were all unlikeable and untrustworthy which made it difficult to work out what was actually going on at times. But it was a great book, cool twists and a great structure that made me question everything I had already read.
