I've been wanting to read this book for such a long time. I was extremely curious with the premise but overall I didn't think it was amazing, at least in terms of plot.

Probably I didn't enjoyed it more because I read the portuguese translation and I absolutely despise every single book that is translated from english to portuguese. Everything just tends to sound very odd and ridiculous. Plus I feel like you always loose so much of the author's intentions in translations. I must admite tho that this translation wans't completely awful.

The best part of this novel was definitely the whole fetus telling the story part. It was very unique to imagine a baby inside a belly thinking so much and reflecting about such interesting topics. I loved the monologues that the narrator had and how some themes were discussed in such a funny and sarcastic way.

But again, the plot was just ok. It doesn't happen much and there is not really ever a huge plot twist or something like that.

Still this was totally worth the read and it was super fast to finish so I highly recommend if you are interested.
